Features GrantForms™

What's the difference between GrantForms™ and Word Processor and/or Spreadsheet Templates ?
  • We don't think we have to convince anyone about the need of a Grant Forms Filler rather than using paper forms and a typewriter, but what is the difference between GrantForms™ Filler and Word Processor Templates and/or Spreadsheet Templates ?

A Few Features should illustrate ...

  • Your grant applications are saved in a database and can be retrieved, modified, saved and printed at any time.
  • Information about the Principal Investigator and Organization is saved in separate database table and can be used at will in any number of applications without retyping.
  • For the Organization Edition version, a Principal Investigator and a Personnel Database is available to fill in grant application fields directly from the Personal Investigator to staff scientists, engineers and administrative personnel, and even consultants.
  • The form itself performs not only filling but also spreadsheet operations (both logical and computational)for your grant application, such as budgets, dependencies etc., so there is no need to work with a word processor and a spreadheet.
  • Budget Details used for totals calculations can be shown on printed forms or not according to PHS requirements (NIH SBIR phase I for example).
  • Data checking, where possible, guards against errors that could invalidate your application, such as passing time limits or budget limits.
  • All the amenities of computer data entry (spell checking, easy correction of typos, etc.) are available to you.
  • You can print as many copies of your grant application as required. There is no need to go to a copy machine.
  • You can route your Grantforms™ through your Organization's Intranet or through the Internet.
